Investing in South Africa

South Africa has been very attractive for foreign direct investment in the past few years. This is partly because of the economic stability in the country and especially because of the low cost of doing business in SA. This has led to high profitability for both the local and international investors.

UNCTAD estimated the growth rate in FDI inflows to Africa (especially SA) at 78% for 2004-2005. There has been a steep growth in FDI because of the favourable conditions of doing business and stable policies and regulations in the country and the region. This has been the case across all sectors.

(If you want to invest in a specific sector, let RelocateSA assist you to get information, marketing research or facilitate meetings with the industry, government and possible partners in he country. We also get you the relevant policies, law and regulations on a sector of your choice.)

South Africa accounts for more than 20% of the region’s GDP. Traditionally the investments are in the mining and machinery sectors. However with the huge growth in the services sectors in the country, more investment is in the services sectors, especially financial (banking) and energy sectors.

With the first world economic infrastructure and highly skilled labour force, investing in South Africa could be best and highly profitable decision you’ve ever made.
